Good books

NPR has an article today on good mystery stories. I'm surprised and a bit disappointed that I've only read two of these, being a devoted mystery reader. They all sound fantastic.

I never read mystery stories. It's something of a mystery as to why that is.
I'm currently reading
The Big Lie by David Solway, poet, writer, academic, lives in Montreal, who before 9/11 was a conventional lefty but then decided to re-examine all his beliefs and found he was 'wrong about everything'.
